Artist Copy Progress

I am making slow and steady progress on my artist copy project. The artist I'm copying, Bartolomeo Passarotti, has a very detailed mark with varying values and hatches depicting the skin's position as well as light and shadow. As I work on copying the figure's leg, I am learning quickly how to master the direction of the lines on the different parts of the leg, but I still need to practice getting the same soft mark Passarotti has in many places.
